Beef Filling
  • 1 lb lean ground beef main protein for the tacos
  • 2 tsp taco seasoning blend for classic taco flavor
  • cup water to combine seasoning and beef
Tacos
  • 8 small tortillas flour or corn, your choice
  • 1 cup chopped tomatoes fresh and juicy
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce adds crispness
  • ½ cup diced onions for flavor enhancement
  • ¼ cup sliced jalapeños for heat
Toppings
  • ½ cup sour cream creamy addition
  • ½ cup shredded cheese cheddar or queso fresco

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook for about 7-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until fully browned and no longer pink. Drain excess fat.
  2. Stir in taco seasoning and water. Allow to simmer for five minutes until thickened and fragrant.
  3. Warm tortillas in a separate pan or oven at 350°F for about five minutes.
  4. Chop tomatoes, shred lettuce, and dice onions.
  5. Lay out warm tortillas, add seasoned beef, then top with tomatoes, lettuce, onions, jalapeños, sour cream, and cheese.
  6. Serve immediately while warm.
