Ingredients
  

Dough
  • 4 cups All-purpose flour A fluffy base for structure.

  • 2 teaspoons Active dry yeast Check expiration date.
  • 1 cup Milk Warm slightly to activate yeast.
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter Softened for easier incorporation.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Enhances flavors.
  • 1 large Large egg Binds the dough.
Filling
  • 1 cup Biscoff spread Can substitute with cookie butter.
  • 2 tablespoons Ground cinnamon Adjust to taste.
Glaze
  • 2 cups Powdered sugar Sweetens the glaze.
  • 8 oz Cream cheese Softened for easy mixing.
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract Enhances aroma.

Method
 

Making Rolls
  1. In a large bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, sugar, and active dry yeast together.
  2. Gently heat the milk and unsalted butter until just warm, then pour into the dry ingredients.
  3. Add the salt and large egg into the mixture. Knead the dough on a floured surface.
  4. Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover, and let it rise until doubled in size.
  5. Once risen, punch down the dough and roll it out into a large rectangle.
  6. Spread the Biscoff spread evenly over the rolled-out dough.
  7. Generously sprinkle ground cinnamon over the Biscoff spread.
  8. Starting from one edge, roll the dough tightly into a log and slice into 12 equal pieces.
  9. Place the rolls in a greased baking dish, cover, and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
  10. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Bake the rolls for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  11. While the rolls bake, mix together the powdered sugar, cream cheese, and vanilla extract.
  12. As soon as the rolls come out of the oven, drizzle the cream cheese glaze generously on top.
