How to Make Biscuit And Gravy Breakfast Casserole
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Brown the breakfast sausage in a skillet over medium heat until it’s beautifully browned.
- Drain the excess fat from the sausage.
- Whisk in the flour in the same skillet, cooking it for about 1 minute.
- Slowly pour in the milk, stirring continually until the mixture thickens and becomes creamy.
- Combine eggs, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Whisk to incorporate.
- Cut the refrigerated biscuits into quarters and layer them in a greased casserole dish.
- Sprinkle the cooked sausage evenly over the biscuits.
- Pour the thick gravy mixture over the biscuits and sausage.
- Drizzle the egg mixture on top and sprinkle the shredded cheese over everything.
