How to Make Candy Cane Chex Mix

  2. Melt almond bark using a microwave or double boiler. If using the microwave, heat in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth—about 1 to 2 minutes total.
  3. Add optional peppermint oil to the melted almond bark if you want to enhance that delightful minty flavor. Stir gently to incorporate.
  4. Pour the melted almond bark over the Rice Chex and mix gently, using a spatula to coat evenly.
  5. Sprinkle crushed candy canes over the mixture and stir for a festive crunch.
