How to Make Candy Cane Chex Mix
- Pour Rice Chex cereal into a large bowl, ensuring you have enough space to mix.
- Melt almond bark using a microwave or double boiler. If using the microwave, heat in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth—about 1 to 2 minutes total.
- Add optional peppermint oil to the melted almond bark if you want to enhance that delightful minty flavor. Stir gently to incorporate.
- Pour the melted almond bark over the Rice Chex and mix gently, using a spatula to coat evenly.
- Sprinkle crushed candy canes over the mixture and stir for a festive crunch.
