  • 1 pound smoked sausage adds rich flavor
For the Cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese melts beautifully
For the Flavor
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix ties ingredients together
  • 1 cup sour cream adds creaminess and tang
For Seasoning
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine diced potatoes and olive oil in a large bowl and toss until well-coated.
  3. Mix in ranch dressing mix, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread potatoes onto a baking sheet in an even layer and bake for about 25 minutes.
  5. Cook smoked sausage in a separate pan over medium heat until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  6. Layer cooked sausage over the potatoes after they come out of the oven.
  7. Stir in sour cream and half of the cheese.
  8. Top with remaining cheese and bake for an additional 10 minutes until bubbly and golden.
