- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish, then press one sheet of the dough firmly into the bottom.
- Combine sliced apples with granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cornstarch, and lemon juice. Toss gently until apples are coated.
- Spread the apple mixture evenly over the dough layer. Dot with cubes of butter.
- Top with the second sheet of dough, sealing the edges and cutting small slits for steam to escape.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes, until golden brown and bubbly.
- Whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth for the glaze.
- Drizzle the glaze over the cooled apple slices once set, then slice into bars.
