Cookie Dough
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour sifted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
Chocolate Dip
  • 1 cup chocolate chips dark or milk

Method
 

Making the Cookies
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

  4. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/2 inch thick and cut into heart shapes.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are golden brown, then cool on a wire rack.
  6. Melt chocolate chips and dip half of each cooled cookie into the chocolate.
