Preparation Steps
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Brown the chicken breasts on both sides, seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Transfer browned chicken to the crockpot.
- Add sliced mushrooms, chopped onion, minced garlic, thyme, Marsala wine, and chicken broth to the crockpot. Stir gently.
- Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Remove chicken from the crockpot to thicken sauce if desired.
- Serve chicken with sauce on top, garnished with fresh parsley.
