Ingredients

Soup Base
  • 1 lb Ground beef browned
  • 1 can Black beans drained and rinsed
  • 1 can Kidney beans drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup Corn frozen or canned
  • 1 can Diced tomatoes with juice
  • 1 packet Taco seasoning adjust to taste
  • 1 medium Onion diced
  • 4 cups Beef broth

Equipment

  • Crockpot

Method

Cooking Steps
  1. Brown the Ground Beef: Start by browning the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Cook until no longer pink, then strain off any excess fat to keep the soup light and delicious.
  2. Transfer to Crockpot: Add the browned beef directly into your crockpot. This is where all those wonderful flavors will meld together beautifully!
  3. Combine Ingredients: Now, it's time to add the black beans, kidney beans, corn, diced tomatoes, onion, taco seasoning, and beef broth. Make sure to pour everything in for a truly flavorful experience.
  4. Mix Well: Stir to combine all the ingredients thoroughly. This ensures every bite is packed with flavor and goodness, making your soup irresistible.
  5. Set the Heat: Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or set it on high for 3-4 hours. The longer it cooks, the more the flavors will deepen and harmonize.
  6. Serve and Enjoy: Once it’s ready, ladle the hot soup into bowls and get creative with your toppings.
