How to Make Fried Sliced Mushrooms
  1. Clean your mushrooms by gently wiping them with a damp cloth to remove any dirt. Slice them evenly to ensure uniform cooking, about 1/4 inch thick.
  2. Mix the coating ingredients by combining all-purpose flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper in a bowl. This flavorful mixture will cling beautifully to the mushrooms.
  3. Dip each mushroom slice first in the flour mixture, thoroughly coating it. Next, dip it in the beaten eggs to help the breadcrumbs adhere, followed by coating with breadcrumbs for that crispy finish.
