How to Make Garlic and Parmesan Chicken
- Slice chicken breasts carefully in half or pound them to an even thickness for uniform cooking.
- Prepare two bowls by placing beaten eggs in one and combining breadcrumbs with 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese in the second.
- Dip each chicken piece into the egg, then dredge it in the breadcrumb-Parmesan mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
- Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook the chicken for 4–5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Melt the remaining butter in the same pan, then add minced garlic, sautéing for about 30 seconds.
- Pour in the chicken broth and gently stir to deglaze the pan.
- Add heavy cream to the pan and simmer for 3–4 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Stir in the remaining 1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese and season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
- Return the cooked chicken to the pan, spooning the sauce over it.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve hot.
