Method

How to Make Garlic and Parmesan Chicken
  1. Slice chicken breasts carefully in half or pound them to an even thickness for uniform cooking.
  2. Prepare two bowls by placing beaten eggs in one and combining breadcrumbs with 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese in the second.
  3. Dip each chicken piece into the egg, then dredge it in the breadcrumb-Parmesan mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
  4. Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Cook the chicken for 4–5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. Melt the remaining butter in the same pan, then add minced garlic, sautéing for about 30 seconds.
  7. Pour in the chicken broth and gently stir to deglaze the pan.
  8. Add heavy cream to the pan and simmer for 3–4 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  9. Stir in the remaining 1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese and season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
  10. Return the cooked chicken to the pan, spooning the sauce over it.
  11. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve hot.
