How to Make Garlic Parmesan Roasted Potatoes
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or give it a light grease.
- Prepare the potatoes by rinsing and drying them thoroughly. Cut them into bite-sized pieces.
- Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl: toss the potatoes with olive oil, minced garlic, thyme, oregano or basil, salt, and pepper.
- Spread the coated potatoes in a single layer on the baking sheet. Roast for 25 to 30 minutes, stirring halfway through.
- Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the potatoes as they finish roasting. Add butter pieces if desired.
- Return the baking sheet to the oven and let it roast for an additional 3 to 5 minutes to melt the cheese.
- Serve by transferring the garlic Parmesan roasted potatoes to a serving dish, garnished with chopped fresh parsley if desired.

Notes
For optimal crispiness, ensure potatoes are cut to uniform size and avoid overcrowding the baking sheet. Mince garlic finely for enhanced flavor, and stir halfway through cooking for even browning.
