- Preheat your grill to medium heat.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Grill the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked.
- Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes, then slice it.
- Spread ranch dressing on one side of each slice of bread.
- Layer sliced chicken and cheddar cheese on the non-dressing side of two slices of bread.
- Top with the other two slices of bread, dressing side up.
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Grill the sandwiches for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Slice in half and serve warm.
