- Sear the Beef: In a hot skillet, sear the beef chunks on all sides until nicely browned, about 4-5 minutes.
- Transfer Ingredients: Move the seared beef into the slow cooker. Add in the sliced mushrooms, diced onion, minced garlic, beef broth, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir gently to combine everything.
- Cook the Beef: Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 7–8 hours or on high for 4–5 hours. The beef should be fork-tender when it's ready to serve.
- Add Creamy Goodness: About 30 minutes before you plan to serve, stir in the softened cream cheese and sour cream.
- Cook the Noodles: Meanwhile, cook the egg noodles according to the package instructions. Drain them well.
