  • 4 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup Cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Baking powder
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 1 tsp Salt
For the Filling
  • 1 cup Milk Add moisture
  • 1/3 cup Melted butter
  • 1 large Egg Acts as a binder
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Brown sugar Deep caramel sweetness
  • 2 tbsp Cinnamon Warm spice
  • 1 cup Chocolate chips For bursts of cocoa flavor

Method
 

How to Make Hot Cocoa Cinnamon Rolls
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Combine wet ingredients by whisking milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract in another bowl.
  4. Blend the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined.
  5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle about ½ inch thick.
  6. Spread the brown sugar and cinnamon mixture over the dough evenly.
  7. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top of the sugar and cinnamon layer.
  8. Roll the dough tightly and cut into slices about 1 inch thick.
  9. Place the rolls in a greased baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes.
  10. Let cool slightly before serving.
