How to Make Italian Almond Cookies
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix the almond flour, sugar, and salt in a large bowl until well combined.
- Add the egg whites, almond extract, and vanilla extract. Stir gently until everything is incorporated.
- Shape the dough into small balls, about an inch in diameter, and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Top each ball with a sliced almond, pressing it lightly into the dough.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the cookies are lightly golden.
- Cool the cookies on a wire rack before serving.
