For the Toppings
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese feel free to mix in other cheeses
  • 1 can black beans rinsed and drained
  • 1/2 cup sliced jalapeños pickled or fresh
For the Finishing Touches
  • 1 cup sour cream Greek yogurt is a great substitute
  • 1 cup guacamole homemade adds a personal touch
  • 1 cup salsa choose mild or hot

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Spread tortilla chips evenly on a large baking sheet.
  3. Sprinkle half of the shredded cheddar cheese over the chips, followed by the black beans.

  5. Bake for 10-15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  6. Remove from the oven and top with sour cream, guacamole, and salsa before serving.
