How to Make One-Pot Chili
- In a large pot, warm up 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat.
- Add 1 chopped onion and 2 minced garlic cloves. Sauté until the onion is soft and translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Toss in 1 lb of ground beef and cook until it’s browned and crumbly, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in 2 tablespoons of chili powder, 1 teaspoon of cumin, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper.
- Mix in 1 can of kidney beans, 1 can of black beans, 1 can of diced tomatoes, and 1 cup of beef broth. Give it a gentle stir.
- Increase the heat to bring your chili to a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Let it simmer for 30 minutes.
- Dish out your One-Pot Chili hot, and serve.
