  • 3 large Eggs
  • 1 cup Brown sugar
  • 1 cup Light corn syrup
  • 0.25 cup Unsalted butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Chopped pecans

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line your 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine melted butter, flour, salt, and brown sugar. Mix until well-blended, then press into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  3. Bake the crust for 18–20 minutes until lightly golden brown.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, brown sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla, and salt. Fold in the chopped pecans.
  5. Spread the pecan filling evenly over the baked crust.
  6. Return to oven and bake for an additional 30–35 minutes until the center is set.
  7. Let the bars cool completely in the pan before chilling in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
