How to Make Peppermint Bark Muddy Buddies
- Begin by placing white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the chocolate is smooth and glossy.
- Once your white chocolate is melted, add the rice cereal into the bowl. Gently stir until every piece is beautifully coated.
- Transfer the coated cereal onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Spread it out evenly to ensure it cools and sets nicely.
- In a separate bowl, melt the milk chocolate chips using the same microwave method. Drizzle this chocolate over the rice cereal mixture.
- While the chocolate drizzle is still warm, sprinkle the crushed peppermint candies generously across the top.
- Allow the mixture to cool completely, about 10-15 minutes. Once set, break it into bite-sized pieces.
- Just before serving, give your treats a light dusting of powdered sugar for a sweet finish.
