How to Make Pumpkin Bread
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×5-inch loaf pan by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
- Whisk together the pumpkin purée, brown sugar, granulated sugar, eggs, oil, water, and vanilla in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
- Sift the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves into a separate bowl.
- Stir the dry ingredients into the wet mixture gradually until just combined.
- Pour the batter into your prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Bake for 55 to 65 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs.
- Cool the bread in the pan for 15 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Slice and enjoy your Pumpkin Bread plain, or indulge with a spread of butter or cream cheese.
