How to Make Roast Beef Sandwich
  1. Slice the baguette or ciabatta in half lengthwise. If you love a bit of crunch, toast the bread lightly until it's just golden.
  2. Layer generous slices of roast beef on one side of the bread and cover completely.
  3. Top with Swiss cheese and place the sandwich under the broiler until the cheese is bubbly and golden, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Mix horseradish sauce with mayonnaise in a small bowl and spread it evenly on the other half of the bread.
  5. Add lettuce and tomato slices over the beef and cheese layer.
  6. Assemble your sandwich by closing the two halves together. Slice in half if desired, and serve immediately.
