How to Make Roast Beef Sandwich
- Slice the baguette or ciabatta in half lengthwise. If you love a bit of crunch, toast the bread lightly until it's just golden.
- Layer generous slices of roast beef on one side of the bread and cover completely.
- Top with Swiss cheese and place the sandwich under the broiler until the cheese is bubbly and golden, about 2-3 minutes.
- Mix horseradish sauce with mayonnaise in a small bowl and spread it evenly on the other half of the bread.
- Add lettuce and tomato slices over the beef and cheese layer.
- Assemble your sandwich by closing the two halves together. Slice in half if desired, and serve immediately.
