Directions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
- Cream together the softened unsalted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a mixing bowl until smooth.
- Add the large eggs and vanilla extract, then mix until well combined.
- Combine in a separate bowl your all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, until just incorporated.
- Spread half of the batter into the prepared pan.
- Drizzle the caramel sauce generously over the first layer of batter.
- Spread the remaining half of the batter on top of the caramel layer.
- Sprinkle sea salt over the top before baking.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars.
