Method

How to Make Skillet Lasagna
  1. In a large skillet, heat over medium heat and cook the ground beef, chopped onion, and minced garlic together until the beef is browned and the onions are translucent, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Stir in the crushed tomatoes and broken lasagna noodles. Mix them well so that the noodles are evenly distributed in the sauce.
  3. Sprinkle Italian seasoning, along with salt and pepper, into the skillet. Stir gently to incorporate all the flavors, letting the mixture come to a gentle simmer.
  4. Lower the heat and allow the skillet to simmer for about 20 minutes, or until the noodles are tender and have absorbed the delightful flavors of the sauce.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of ricotta cheese evenly over the skillet.
  6. Generously sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the ricotta.
  7. Cover the skillet and cook for an additional 5 minutes, or until the mozzarella is melted and bubbling.
