- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the softened unsalted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
- Add in the maple syrup and large eggs, mixing until well combined.
- Whisk together all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space between each.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
- Cool cookies for a few minutes on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
- For the Icing: Melt the unsalted butter in a saucepan over medium heat until browned, then mix with powdered sugar and maple syrup until smooth.
- Drizzle the browned butter icing over the cooled cookies and let it set.
