How to Make Strawberry Mousse
  1. Combine strawberries and sugar in a bowl, let them sit for about 15 minutes until syrupy.
  2. Blend the sweetened strawberries until smooth, reserving a few pieces for texture.
  3. Whip the heavy cream with the vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
  4. Mix gelatin powder with cold water and let it bloom for 5 minutes, then warm until dissolved.
  5. Fold in the strawberry puree and dissolved gelatin into the whipped cream gently.
  6. Spoon the mixture into serving dishes and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
