  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
For the Marinade
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
For Seasoning & Cooking
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Rinse and pat dry the chicken breasts. Season generously with salt and pepper.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the soy sauce, sweet chili sauce, honey, minced garlic, and fresh lime juice. Whisk until smooth.
  3. Place the seasoned chicken breasts in a dish or bag, pour half of the sauce over them, and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side.
  5. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches at least 165°F (75°C).
  6. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes, then serve drizzled with the remaining sweet chili sauce.
