How to Make Sweet Chili Chicken
  1. Prepare the Chicken: Rinse and pat dry the chicken breasts. Season them generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Mix the Marinade: In a bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, sweet chili sauce, honey, minced garlic, and lime juice until it’s smooth and well combined.
  3. Marinate the Chicken: Place the chicken in the marinade, letting it soak up the flavors for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Sear the Chicken: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet. Sear the marinated chicken for about 4-5 minutes per side.
  5. Bake the Chicken: Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  6. Serve with Sauce: Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing and drizzle the remaining marinade over the chicken before serving.
