Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Cook the macaroni according to package instructions, usually boiling it for about 7-8 minutes until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes, until it’s fully cooked and browned. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Add the taco seasoning to the skillet, mixing it thoroughly with the beef. Let it simmer for about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Combine the cooked macaroni, diced tomatoes, and onions into the skillet, stirring well.
  5. Mix in the sour cream and half of the shredded cheddar cheese until creamy.
  6. Transfer this mixture to a baking dish and top with the remaining cheddar cheese.
  7. Bake in your preheated oven at 350°F for 15 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  8. Garnish with freshly chopped cilantro just before serving.
