Cooking Instructions
  1. Begin by preparing the long-grain white rice according to the package instructions. Once fluffy and well-cooked, set it aside to keep warm.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the lean ground beef or turkey thoroughly, ensuring it cooks all the way through; drain any excess fat for a leaner dish.
  3. Sprinkle in the taco seasoning and pour ½ cup of water into the skillet. Stir well and let it simmer for about 5 minutes, allowing those zesty flavors to meld together.
  4. Mix in the rinsed black beans and corn, cooking until everything is heated through. You want those colors to pop and the ingredients to blend into a hearty filling.
