Method

How to Make Turkey Lettuce Wraps
  1. Start by heating the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. This will create a warm base for the flavors to meld perfectly together.
  2. Add the minced garlic, diced onions, and bell peppers. Sauté until they soften and become fragrant, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add the ground turkey to the skillet. Break it apart with a spatula and cook until it's browned throughout, roughly 5-7 minutes.
  4. Stir in the soy sauce, rice vinegar, and hoisin sauce. Let everything cook together for another 2 minutes.
  5. Remove the skillet from heat and let the turkey mixture cool slightly for about 2 minutes.
  6. Scoop the turkey mixture into the lettuce leaves, folding them like a little wrap. Top with sliced green onions for freshness before serving.
